WV CARING RESALE SHOPS
The Resale Shops are a community service of WV Caring, a nonprofit organization owned by the communities it serves. The Resale Shops allow the community to support our mission to care for those diagnosed with a serious illness in a very tangible way. They are staffed by volunteers who want to help others, and the goods are supplied by people who want to donate to an organization that gives back to the community in which it operates.
In addition, proceeds go to ensure that every patient gets the care they need regardless of their ability to pay.
Every spring as part of WV Caring’s outreach, the Resale Shops host “The Cinderella Project” in which there is a big sale of prom gowns, shoes and accessories at both stores. WV Caring likes to help the young women in North Central West Virginia be able to afford to attend their high school proms. All dresses and accessories are $5.00 each and this sale serves hundreds of young women every year. In addition, throughout the year, the stores have special customer appreciation events and great sales. We hope you will consider how you can be a part of this important ministry and outreach. So, it’s a win-win for the communities we serve.
We appreciate all donations and purchases, but more so, we hope you will stop by and become a part of our WV Caring family.
